Caves and Cowboys and Elephants, Oh My!

I found this photo on Flickr of a road sign in Mexico. I believe it is an example of culturally-laden signage. Taxco, Mexico is probably the only place in the world where you find a sign indicating that elephants, caves and perhaps a rodeo all lie ahead. Each image clearly represents the location or event without any words and indicates something about the culture of the area. After doing a quick Google search about Taxco, I found that the sign communicates successfully:
